
The IP-296 is clamped around a spark plug cable and senses secondary ignition pulses.
Used to detect the number of ignition pulses produced in gasoline engines. The compact, lightweight and clip-on design make it quick and easy to to capture engine rpm. This detector and cord is made of heat resistance materials and can with stand high temperature.
- For 2 and 4 cycle gasoline engines.
- For measurement on primary ( low voltage ) cords use the IP-292.
- Operating temperature -40° to 248° F / -40° to 120° C
- Signal cable 4.9 meters long with BNC connector
